Sophie Le Gros was a very popular player in the Ferndale set up where she showed every one who had the pleasure in watching her that she was a very talented goal keeper. When she left Ferndale she also took with her many trophies that she had helped her team win. It is great to see this young lady doing so well !
Mel Lawley had a talent for lightening quick speed. She started playing for Dave Leighton in a Ferndale boys team before moving onto the U12s girls team where she helped her team bag the league winning 19 out of 20 games and drawing 1. Her first season in a girls team also saw her winning the Mercian League and the Wyrley 'Sevens' tournament.During her last season at Ferndale she won the Central Warwickshire Division 1 Championship and the Mitre Ultimatch North Wales Trophy. Mel has also attended The England Girls Football Camp. A very talented skilful player !
Victoria Jones started as a 'take no prisoners' style of defender during her first year at Ferndale. A year later she decided she wanted to go in goal and during her first year let in less than an average of 1 goal a match in a season that saw the under 12s unbeaten in all league and Cup games. A superb achievement from this gutsy player who now takes her spot in goal for Villa against some of the best girls sides in the country
Nicole was a super fast striker with tricks to match. Nicole netted an extra time winner in the U12s final to make sure that the 12s remained unbeaten that season.
Very skilful she now plays for Kidderminster Harriers and is hopeful of sucuring a place at the Arsenal Academy for next season
A very popular player with a thirst for winning. During her time at Ferndale Rebecca won Two League Titles,One Runners Up League Title, Two League Cup Titles and over nine tournament wins includin 2 Kewford titles, Wyrley Sevens, Wrekin, FC Pheonix and The Tesco South West England Runners Up Medal.
A hard working likable young lady who started playing at Bewdley Town FC. A never give up attitude saw this young lady play at Ferndale for 4 years bagging several trophies including U14 winners Cup Final, A Central Warwickshire Division One winners title and a Central Warwickshire Runners Up Division 1 title as well as many tournament wins. She is now plying her trade at Kidderminster Harriers FC
